He was speaking at Meet the Press at Hyderabad Press Club on Thursday.
Bilawal said, "We would defend the provincial autonomy at any cost."
He said that PPP leaders and workers rendered sacrifices for the democracy. He said that selected Prime Minister will have to go home. He said that Imran Khan prayed for Modi to win the elections. He said that the country was passing through a difficult time and had great external threats. He said that puppet and undemocratic forces are attacking democracy, freedom of expression and human rights in new ways.
Bilawal said his party would continue to work for strengthening of federation by opposing any move against provincial autonomy.
He said his party had always strengthened the federation and struggled for restoration of democracy in the country with the support of the masses, civil society, media and other sections of the society.
Pakistan People's party would resist any move against Karachi, he warned the Federal Law Minister to refrain from creating disturbance in the provincial capital as it will be harmful for the federation of Pakistan.
Bilawal said that the 18th Amendment was introduced to restore 1973 constitution in its real shape and all political forces joined hands to accomplish the task. In case of any move against the constitutional amendment mainstream political forces would resist it, he warned.
He said Indian Prime Minister Modi is an extremist and he was also involved in Gujarat carnage that's why he had been denied of visa to visit America before he was first time elected as Indian Prime Minister.
All political parties must remain united to oppose Indian decision about occupied Jammu and Kashmir, PPP chairman said and added that people of Kashmir would have to decide about their future according to UN resolutions.
Replying to a question, he said his party is against holding of fresh general elections as holding of fresh election is not an easy task. He said the only option for changing of government is in-house change.
He praised the historic role of journalists of Hyderabad and said in the past democratic forces and the journalist community played a pivotal role in restoration of democracy in the country.
He said his party will always remain with the journalist community in their struggle for freedom of media.
